A Work In Progress

Scrapbooking Layout - A Work In Progress

Scrapbooking Layout - A Work In Progress

This is a scrapbook layout I created recently about a man who built this house for his girlfriend, starting when he found out they were going to have a baby together. They moved into this house 2 days after their child was born. I've been creating an entire album about how together they built this house with their own hands, creating not only a house, but a home.

Supplies used:
Rusty Pickle paper for the background, Fancy Pants paper for the cream paper, the rub-on's were Basic Grey and Daisy D's. I used my computer to change the photo colors to sepia. The Rusty Pickle paper says Family phrases, even though this layout is obviously about a house.

A Meaningful Project
by: Fion

Hi Kelly, I think what you are doing here is meaningful, creating a scrapbook album that preserves the precious memories of the man who built a new home for his little family. The sepia tone you've selected gave the layout a very nostalgic feel. The rub-ons make the title look beautiful!
