Budget Scrapping Tips - Visitor's Scrapbooking Tips

by Lorelie Orr
(United States)

There is a print store in town that will give away assorted pieces of cardstock and paper because they just trash it otherwise, perhaps a local one in your area has the same deal.

Also you can buy plain chipboard there really cheap.

Also, I can't afford to pay for all the fancy fabric flowers, so I just buy some pretty silk flowers and cut off all the plastic. The only thing you need then is a brad to decorate the center. You can buy plain brads in your local office store by asking for brass fasteners. Not as many options for sizes, but much cheaper. Just sand the top some and paint or glue something to the top.

Also don't forget to go to $1.00 stores, I haven't seen one lately that doesn't have a scrapbook or craft section. Hope these help some, and thanks for the tips I got from you.
