A neat collection of free die-cuts covering spring, summer, fall, winter, back to school, wedding and birthday sets. You'll need Acrobat Reader to open the PDF files to read it. Remember to open the file and scroll down to see the die-cuts.

Besides die-cuts, do you know that you can turn free patterns designed specifically for other crafts in mind into free scrapbooking designs too?

It's amazing thinking how all these resources will add spice to your pages for free!

All you need to do is simply to download the pattern file, print out the pattern, color (if necessary), cut-out and then paste onto your pages.

How simple and useful.

Applique Patterns

Let's talk about using applique patterns for scrapbooking.

Yes, you can actually print out applique patterns and make them into paper piecing patterns to be used for your pages.

What's paper piecing?

It's a paper art where you cut out different shapes of an object pattern, and then you piece them back together using your desired choice of colors and papers to form the final object. It's something like piecing together a jig-saw puzzle.

A tip for handling paper piecing is to print them out on heavier cardstock so that it's easier for you to cut out the shapes. Easy does it.

Now, go check out some applique patterns and have fun experimenting with them.
