GO!

My favorite scrapbook layout

My favorite scrapbook layout

This is one of my favorite scrapbook layouts of my son. I love it because it is not by any means, a perfect picture of him, but it captures his personality so well at this age! I can barely get him to sit still, much less take a good photo. But it's ok, that's him right now and the layout shows it.

Supplies used:
Background paper and rub-on: K. and Company; Bazzill cardstock; Jenni Bowlin stamp; German scrap bug embellishment; office supply brad; ribbon unknown; Quote by Brian Andreas, storypeople.

Lovely page

Great layout! Love the movement, and the pop of green on what looks a like black & white photo. Also the hand written saying aDDS a touch of the personal ( your son can see what your handwriting looked like 'way-back-when.') Lovely page.

Capturing Moments on the Go
by: Fion

I do agree that sometimes our favorite scrapbook layouts aren't composed of the perfect picture or the perfect design. It's always something about the memories that a picture could evoke within us.

My niece, who's nearly two and a half, she's at the same phase as your boy, always on the go and we could hardly get a good photo of her! Still we can scrapbook these photos that really reveal the essence of who they are at that point in time.

Thanks for sharing one of your favorites with us and reminding us that we don't need perfect photos for a great layout! We look forward to seeing more of your creations!
