Index by Color - Visitor's Scrapbooking Tip

by Joe
(Anchorage, USA)

Scrapbooking Tip: We have created a scrapbook album for each of our grandchildren. To help them easily identify "their" scrapbook album, we use a different color of paper for each book. Do not use a bright Red, Black or Blue. I suggest more pastel colors so that the pictures will not be overpowered by the page colors.

Fion: Thanks Joe for your tip! Indexing your scrapbooks by various colors is a neat idea as not only does it help the kid to identify her scrapbook right away, but also makes each scrapbook more special for the kid. And isn't it wonderful to have grandparents who create scrapbooks for their grandchildren? I'm sure these are keepsakes the kids love now and will cherish even more in the future. I also think the grandkids will enjoy having their grandparents record "stories" from their perspectives.
