Kiri in Sunshine

This beginner scrapbook layout is from the first scrapbook I made in April-June 2007. I made it about my cat, Kiri who was 19 years old when she died last October.

Supplies used:
Background paper: Blue cardstock; Lower case alphabet sticker border: "Making Memories"; Flower brads: "Spare Parts"; Photo mats: Paper scraps; Cat quote: Vellum stickers and silver mini brads; Small paper squares: "American Traditonal Designs"

Vellum sticker reads: "If there is one spot of sun spilling onto the floor, a cat will find it and soak it up" -- Jean Asper McIntosh.

Journaling reads: Kiri loved lying in any sunshine spots she could find. I took the bottom photo with a flash and then wondered if the same picture would turn out without the flash. Kiri started taking a bath when I took the second photo so I didn't get a good shot of her face.
