Letters from Camp - Visitor's Scrapbooking Layout

by Annie Lang
(Grand Blanc, MI, USA)

Letters are a MUST for scrapping memorabilia albums!

Letters are a MUST for scrapping memorabilia albums!

This compilation page was created for my son's Scouting Years scrapbook album. I individually scanned his letter, envelope, scout badge, arrowhead, textured background paper and vellum leaves.

I imported each scan into my Adobe PhotoShop program and added a digital photograph to the layout. All scans can also be printed and cut out for traditionally scrapping the page.

After printing my digital layout, I added personalization before including the page in his album.

NOTE: Personally scanned/photographed Boy Scouts of America memorabilia compilations for non-commercial personal use. Does not infringe on the BSA copyright.

Scan those memorabilia
by: Fion

Hi Annie, you're sure putting your scanner into great use! These days with emails getting commonplace, handwritten letters are getting rarer. And for those precious letters that we have, we tend to keep them in safe places. By scanning them and putting them onto a scrapbook page, it's one way to ensure it enjoys a good, long life.

And letters add such a heartwarming feeling to a page and make people instantly curious to read more about the content.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughtful scrapbook pages and ideas with my site visitors!
