Magazine Letters - Visitor's Scrapbooking Tip

by Lora
(Colorado, United States)

For a random look to a scrapbook title (or anywhere else you could think to use it), you can cut out the letters from magazines in order to form the words you want to. To minimize your search for letters, look for magazines with lots of advertisements.

Fion: That's an excellent tip Lora, thank you! I've not used this technique before but I've seen other scrapbookers used it to great effect to create beautiful scrapbook titles. It does give off a random and trendy look to your page.

If you're concerned about the acidity of these magazine papers, you can always use a de-acidifying spray to keep the acids from these magazine papers from migrating to your photos.

But if it's digital photos that you have copies of and don't mind experimenting with different "non-scrapbooking supplies" for your pages, try out Lora's tip and see what you can come up with!

And if you've done that, please share your layouts with us!
