My Precious Granddaughter - Visitor's Scrapbook Layout

Scrapbooking Layout - My Precious Granddaughter

Scrapbooking Layout - My Precious Granddaughter

For scrapbooking inspiration, I look around my house to see what I can use for my scrapping projects. I see everything as a potential.

For this scrapbook layout, I used wax paper and an old button. I wet a piece of paper, crumbled it up and used it. Then I went online and found some quotes, copied it to Word, and printed it out. Next, I put the pictures in sepia tone, ordered them online and tada! Scrapbook page made easy! LOL

Thank you Fion
I actually just started scrap booking a month and a half ago. And now I'm going to be teaching it on the Army Post here in El Paso. I hear so many women say they aren't very good at scrap booking, but if you enjoy doing it, it doesn't matter, as you go, more inspirations/ideas will come.
I'm a recycle freak and at first I felt like I was killing more trees...lol. and that is why I try to find more things around to recycle to use on my pages. even container bowls and medication bottles that I would normally throw away, I now save some to use to put little things in there like buttons, scrap paper.
Thank you and I look forward to growing my inspirations/ideas.

Hi Sheila, thanks very much for your scrapbook layout contribution! It's interesting to see how turning your photos into the sepia tone adds an instant "vintage" look to your page. You're also stretching your creativity by looking through your home supplies to see what could be transformed into scrapbook elements for use on your layouts. A good way to cut down scrapping costs too!
