Organizing by Subjects - Visitor's Scrapbooking Tip

by Dan Alfanzo
(NY, USA)

Scrapbooking Tip: Finding what you need while setting up a page or looking for an idea is important. I used to hate it when I know I had somewhere in my scrapbooking box a sticker or paper I wanted to use but needed endlessly to sort each time through the bags to find it. Today I have it all organized and easily find what I need by subject.

Here's what to do - Grab a presentation binder from an office supply store, mark up the tabs by categories: party, nature and so on. After that you can start putting all your scrapbooking papers into the relevant categories and easily find them when working on a specific page.

Fion: Thanks Dan for your scrapbook tip! Organization is indeed a crucial area in scrapbooking. Materials are still manageable when our collection is small. But as we accumulate more and more scrapbook supplies, that's when it can become a headache if we didn't start organizing our supplies properly.
