Scrapbooking Idea No. 22

A Pastime

Scrapbooking Idea 022

This scrapbooking idea is to focus a scrapbook page on your current favorite pastime! Do you have one or several pastimes you simply can't miss out on?

A pastime is really about a pleasant activity that engages you. :-) Whether you have a newly adopted pastime or an old favorite, here's a chance to rave all about it on your scrapbook layout. Years later, you can look at this layout and reflect, "Look at that! I used to be so into making Korean kimbap! Those days, I spent every Friday evening making rolls and rolls of this popular Korean fast food and shared them with friends..." Of course, it doesn't need to be something new, it could be your all-time favorite pastime, "After all these years, I'm still knitting loads of stuff!"

For me, the past weeks had seen me producing some handmade stuff. A few pieces of wall art to dress up my bare bedroom a little, several cute coasters and some brooches too. I've fallen in love with felt! It's making appearances in many of my projects. But I think I'll start playing with fabrics too.

It's very agreeable with me to be holding onto a needle and creating simple stitches with floss, it brought me back to those days where I had to sew a missing button or a a split for my school uniforms. Though this time round, my sewing is turning into cute handmade stuff like brooches that I could pin onto my dresses and tops, or coasters I could give away to friends to cushion their beverages. I've bought more felt, so I guess I'll be sticking to this pastime for awhile more.

Enjoy scrapping about your current or classic pastime! Have loads of fun!
