Scrapbooking Idea No. 13

What I Am Really Good At

Scrapbooking Idea 013

This scrapbooking idea is a self-empowering one, in the sense you get to think and highlight about what you're really good at!

Are you one with green fingers and all the plants in your garden are blooming gloriously? Do you have an eye for fashion and could throw together a ridiculously good-looking outfit in quick minutes? Have you been dancing since you were four and you're really an excellent dancer?

For me, I briefly thought about what I'm really good and one answer came to mind - writing little poems! And that's simply because I've been spending and will be spending many more hours writing poems this year! We've just reached the quarter of 2009, and I easily have written over a hundred poems so far (first drafts though). To show an example of what I'm good at, I wrote down one of my latest simple poems on the layout. And it reads...

What I have written yesterday,
or a few days before,
I might not remember.

What I have tasted yesterday,
or a few weeks before,
I might not remember.

What I have seen yesterday,
or a few months before,
I might not have remembered.

For I look ahead with
my eyes bright for the future,
and my heart in the present.

To savour what's there to savour,
to enjoy what's there to enjoy,
to live what's there to live.

And through it all with
a heart full of thanks,
for another given view of today.

You can show pictures of you engaging in an activity or show samples of your work on your layout. Be it cooking, dancing, rollerblading, etc. Don't shy away because you didn't think you're good at anything. There must be something you're really good at, dig deeper. Enjoy!
