Your Best Reference Book to Scrapbooking Phrases, Titles, Captions and Sayings

Lasting Expression e-Book

A reference guide on scrapbooking phrases and titles can help scrapbookers to scrapbook better, give them ideas and to cut away time-consuming tasks. Time-consuming tasks like searching for 30 minutes for the right scrapbook phrases or titles.

True, there's many online resources out there with scrapbooking sayings, quotes, expressions that you can use in your scrapbook pages. But that's provided you don't mind mining through many different websites or spending a lot of time just to look for the right expression. I rather not do that.

I want to spend more time scrapping away than cracking my head over the right title or phrase to use!

I know how time-consuming it can be to search for appropriate quotes. Because I have a website where I compile inspirational quotes and it takes a lot of time to find the right quotes. I've spent hundred of hours to gather and compile lists and lists of quotes. And I believed Terri Burritt, creator of Lasting Expressions when she said she spent a few months in researching for her reference e-Book. It's a 123-page book with over 5,000 scrapbook phrases, titles, captions, and sayings.

Note: Terri's book is an e-Book (electronic book) which you can download to your computer as soon as you order. No postal /shipping fee.

So if you're looking for quotes, visit my quote site. But if you're looking for scrapbooking phrases, sayings, titles or captions specifically for scrapbooking purposes, read on.

I find Terri's e-Book a useful tool for any beginner or seasoned scrapbooker. For embossing, you need the embossing tool and stencils. For scrapbook page planning, you need scrapbook sketches. For scrapbook journaling, you need a reference e-Book like Lasting Expressions at your fingertips.

It's a time-saver and help to generate ideas and creativity on coming up with the right scrapbook title, phrase or expression to use for scrapbooking.

Can I let you in on a secret? I stubbornly refused to buy Lasting Expressions for the longest time. Why? Because I thought I have my own quotes site, so why spend money on a handy reference e-Book on scrapbooking phrases? Wrong!

Quotes are quotes. They can be used for a wide variety of things including scrapbooking for only some occasions. But... many times they aren't good enough or suitable as scrapbook titles, for a turn of a phrase, or as scrapbook captions to use in scrapbook pages.

Knowing how time-consuming it can be to compile my own scrapbooking phrases, I finally relented and bought my own copy of Lasting Expressions! Now that I bought it, I got to share with you on what I've found about this reference e-Book.

There's over 90 categories covering many common topics used in scrapbooking such as Age, Animals/Pets, Anniversaries, Babies, Beach & Sand, Children, Christmas, Dirt, Family, Fall, Graduation, Heritage, Housework, In-Laws, Military, Outdoors, Pregnancy, Retirement, Snow, and many more.

Did I find enough phrases, titles, and expressions to use in my scrapbooking? Much more than enough and that's not counting the bonus gifts I got from Terri!

Majority of these expressions are great as scrapbook page titles, photo captions, or as a phrase in scrapbook journaling. They work well as idea starters too. They are mostly short phrases and titles.

This e-Book is NOT for people who are expecting longish quotes. You won't find it here. Instead, all the short and punchy phrases and expressions are geared towards scrapbookers for use in their scrapbook pages.

Here's what I really like about the Lasting Expression e-Book. Whenever I need a scrapbook title/caption for a scrapbook page, I simply look at the Table of Contents for the many categories. Once I located the theme/category I wanted, I simply click on the category and it'll bring me straight to the page where a bunch of expressions are found. It's such a time-saving function!

For example, I wanted to find some scrapbooking phrases on babies. I clicked on the word "Babies" under the Table of Contents, and the page containing the category of Babies expressions popped up.

Below is just a handful of scrapbooking phrases I've found under "Babies":

BABIES

• 1,2,3,4 I can walk along the floor

• 10 lb. baby melts 200 pound man

• A baby girl/boy is a touch of God’s love.

• A baby girl.....one of the most beautiful miracles in life, one of the greatest joys we can ever know and one of the reasons why there is a little extra sunshine, laughter and happiness in your world today.

• A baby is a bit of stardust blown from the hand of God!

• A baby is a gift of love.

• A baby is a touch of God's love.

• A baby is cuddles and tickles on toes, the sweet scent of powder, a kiss on the nose!

What I can do next is to copy one of these sayings to use on my scrapbook page. I can use it as is, or I can adapt it to my own usage. These scrapbooking phrases create a springboard to many other journaling ideas.

More importantly, the hard work of digging scrapbooking phrases are done for me so I don't waste time on the Internet searching for the right expression to use.

I have to mention a bit about the bonus gifts. I received not one but a bundle of bonus gifts when I bought my copy of this e-Book. For the price that I've paid, Terri is giving away a lot of bonuses and who doesn't love bonuses?

I found one of the bonus gifts, The Friendly Gifts Craft Sayings e-Book a great delight! 21 pages of e-Book jam-packed with fun, creative and cute sayings that aren't a replicate of the Lasting Expressions e-Book. This little e-Book contains sayings on 40 Isn't So Bad, Chocolate, Teacher, Mom, Dad, Coffee, Housework, Gardening, Snow & Snowmen, Halloween, Fishing, Grandmother, Christmas and Diet.

Let me bring up a couple of cute sayings I've found in this bonus e-Book:

  • Getting old is now chick. The rustic look is in.

  • Love is the square root of teaching.

  • Cordless mom... recharge with hugs!

  • Lessons from the University of Dad.

  • Instant human. Just add coffee.

  • Freedom of the press means no-iron clothes.

  • Take time to chase the snowflakes.

  • These two e-Books, Lasting Expressions and The Friendly Gifts Craft Sayings (bonus gift) are enough to keep me busy for a long, long time. I don't think I'll need to search on the Internet or elsewhere for inspiration on scrapbook titles, quotes, phrases or expressions anymore. These e-Books already formed a "mini-library" for me.

There's other bonus gifts that I won't mention here as I'm not sure how long Terri would be offering the bonus gifts with her Lasting Expressions e-Book.

If you do intend to get a reference book for scrapbooking phrases, titles and captions, I would highly recommend you to get this e-Book now.
