My uncle died a few months ago and I wanted to make a scrapbook for my aunt for Christmas with pictures of him. I was used to doing 12 x 12 pages but decided to do this as an 8 x 8 scrapbook. It was fun doing a different theme and format than my usual and it went very fast.

I ended up making about 18 pages in the scrapbook and my aunt thought it was "outstanding" and she was very touched that I would do something like this. I hadn't done a scrapbook as a gift before, so I'm glad my first effort turned out well.

Supplies used:
Bachground paper from: The Paper Studio; Buttons from Bag O' Buttons-Brights; Star punch; Border from Die Cuts with A View Border Punch Strips-Brights; Journaling done on ink-jet copy paper.

An Inspiring Christmas Gift Idea
by: Fion

ML, what a thoughtful and inspiring scrapbook album you've made for your aunt! No wonder she said that it's "outstanding" and I'm sure you've touched her deeply with your gift.

You've indeed made a precious Christmas gift that I believe your aunt will cherish very much.

After you've gotten used to scrapping on a large scale, scrapping on a smaller format does make the whole process faster and easier. And I'm happy to know that your first scrapbook gift album has been very well received. Well done!!
