Using Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces - Visitor's Scrapbooking Tip

by Robin O
(Ossining, NY, USA)

Scrapbooking Tip: One neat way to accent a good photo, especially if it's a landscape or property photo, is to use jigsaw puzzle pieces as templates. Just trace them on the back of your photo, and cut around them. It gives a nice slice of creativity to your work of art, your scrapbook!

Fion: Robin, thanks for such a creative idea! When I first saw your idea, I thought what a fun way to pump up the visual interest on a scrapbook page. We've tried cropping, slicing, sanding, doodling on photos directly, but I've never thought of using jigsaw puzzle pieces to turn a photo into a "jigsaw puzzle"! If anyone of you tried out Robin's idea, be sure to share your layout with us.
