Cute Things Out from My Son’s Mouth

A few of the funny things my little son has uttered. That’s the thing with living with little kids. Now and then, unexpected answers will sprout from their little mouths. I’ve had the same experience with my almost 4-year-old son.

I wish I’ve recorded down all those funnies he has shared with me over the past year but I didn’t. There’s a few recent ones that I remember though.

Last week, I was sitting on my sofa reading when he came to me and show me a piece of paper which he has written some letters on it. while I was looking over his handwritten alphabet, he pointed out to me that the R was looking a bit funny. It looked more like a B. He remarked, “R’s leg is a bit itchy. So he’s bending his leg and scratching it.”

I laughed! I mean that’s quite a creative explanation as to why a R is looking like a B.

Few days ago, I was trying to sing his preschool song. I didn’t remember the lyrics and I made up the words as I went along. After I stopped, he thoughtfully commented, “Hmm… I think it’s a bit funny. You should learn to sing it today.”

Yesterday, at the request of my good friend and her sister, I asked what my little boy would like for his upcoming birthday. I was supposed to give him two options: Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig and George toy figurines or books. His first reaction was that he wanted the toy figurines.

Later when he was playing, I asked, “Why do you want to have Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig and George when you hardly play with your Peppa Pig and Suzy Sheep?”

He thought for a moment and replied, “Because Peppa needs parents!” :)

What about your little ones? What are some of the memorable remarks they’ve made? Share them here and let other parents read about it!
